News - Work continues on decision to send CSTO monitoring mission to Armenia

The work on the draft decision on sending a monitoring mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to Armenia and other practical measures continues after Yerevan's request to remove the CSTO Foreign Ministers' statement from the agenda in support of achieving peace in the South Caucasus. This is noted in a comment issued by the CSTO Secretariat on Tuesday. "At the ([Belarusian capital] Minsk) meetings of the CSTO statutory bodies held yesterday, the Armenian side had proposed to withdraw the consideration of the statement. The work on the draft of the decision of the [CSTO] Collective Security Council and the demonstration of other practical measures continues," the message stated.
