The road leading through the Verkhnii Lars checkpoint from Georgia to Russia is closed to trucks. Sputnik Armenia was informed about this by the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.It is reported that the reason is unfavorable weather conditions.“The Gudauri-Mtskheta section of the international highway Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars is closed for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers due to snow and low temperatures,” the message says.
