The continued disregard for international law both in Ukraine and in Nagorno-Karabakh, and more recently in the Gaza Strip, should be of particular concern to us and we must confront it. OSCE PA Vice-President and member of the Cypriot delegation Kyriakos Hadjiyianni stated today, November 18, at the opening of the OSCE PA Fall Session. "However, what worries us most is the fact that international organizations do not respect international law," he stressed. According to Hadjiyianni, at this critical moment, it is necessary to ensure that the relevance and credibility of the organization are maintained and strengthened. The Cypriot delegate noted that the behavior of authoritarian regimes is also of particular concern. He added that he condemns the actions of Hamas in the Middle East, supporting Tel Aviv's right to self-defense while calling on Israel to fully guarantee respect for the laws of war.
