News - Armenia Security Council chief, Canada envoy discuss normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Thursday received Canadian Ambassador Andrew Turner, the Office of the Security Council informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. First, Grigoryan congratulated Turner on the opening of the Canadian embassy in Armenia, and expressed hope that Armenian-Canadian relations will develop with new intensity. Also, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that Armenia lauds Canada's willingness to be engaged in the activities of the EU civilian observation mission in Armenia. The interlocutors discussed Armenia’s regional security situation and the negotiation process for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
