Arman Tatoyan, Director of the Tatoyan Foundation Center for Law and Justice; mayor of Kapan, Armenia, Gevorg Parsyan; Arush Arushanyan, Mayor of Goris, Armenia, is on a mission to the US state of California, the Tatoyan Foundation informed on Facebook. “American-Armenian international lawyer Karnig Kerkonian is participating in the visit. The visit is organized with the support of the Western Region of the Armenian National Committee of America, under the general leadership of American Armenian lawyer Garo Ghazarian. “During the visit, there will be meetings with the city councils of Los Angeles and Glendale, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, the Armenian community of Los Angeles, etc. “The purpose of the visit is to present to the US public and political circles the Azerbaijani crimes, including the invasions of Armenia, the resulting situation in the communities of Kapan and Goris of Syunik Province, human rights violations, as well as strengthening ties of Kapan and Goris with the appropriate authorities of the United States of America, Los Angeles. The visit is especially important considering that Glendale and Kapan are sister cities,” the Tatoyan Foundation added.
