Turkey does not want to withdraw its troops from Azerbaijan

by Lilit Nov. 13, 2023

A bill to extend the term of service of Turkish armed forces in Azerbaijan by one year has been sent to the Turkish parliament. In accordance with this bill signed by the head of Turkey, the implementation of the measures stipulated by the tripartite statement signed by Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, 2020, continues, APA reports. After the military aggression of Azerbaijan on September 19-20 of this year, the entire territory of Nagorno-Karabakh has been occupied by Azerbaijan, and its Armenian population has been forcibly displaced. As a result, there is no minimum reason for the presence of Turkish troops in Azerbaijan. In fact, the predictions of some political scientists that Turkey will occupy Azerbaijan are coming true.
