Commander of Iran’s northeast air defense zone has said that the country’s air defense equipment has been updated based on new threats, Mehr reported. Brigadier General Mohammadreza Masoumi said that now no threat is undetectable for Iran’s air defense. He added that if aerospace threats are rapidly growing, the country is developing its defensive equipment with the same speed. Also, the commander reiterated that Iran’s military progress is merely aimed at deterrence, and it poses no threat to its neighbors.
