UN peacekeeper wounded in Lebanese shelling

A United Nations peacekeeping soldier was hurt in a mortar shelling in Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports. Two mortar shells hit a UN peacekeeping base in Lebanon, wounding one of its members. According to the news agency, the peacekeeper was quickly evacuated for medical assistance. Attacking UN peacekeepers constitutes violation of international law.
