Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by South Korean Trade Minister Dukgeun Ahn, the PM’s office informs. The Prime Minister emphasized the consistent development and strengthening of trade and economic ties between Armenia and South Korea, and welcomed the South Korean delegation's current visit to Armenia. Pashinyan expressed hope that the negotiations being held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, will give a new impetus to economic cooperation and expansion of business ties, and will contribute to the implementation of investment programs in various domains. The premier stressed that Armenia and South Korea have an active political dialogue and the Armenian government is interested in the expansion of cooperation. In turn, Dukgeun Ahn noted that the delegation led by him also includes businessmen and representatives of various organizations from South Korea, and that the latter is interested in cooperation with Armenia in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and high technology. The interlocutors considered cooperation in agriculture and tourism also promising. The parties expressed a conviction that specific agreements will be reached as a result of the discussions.
