A conversation between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place within the framework of the "3+3" format meeting in Tehran. Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian informed about this based on the results of the meeting held in the Iranian capital. "The meeting between [Armenian FM] Ararat Mirzoyan and [Azerbaijani FM] Jeyhun Bayramov within the framework of the ‘3+3’ meeting, which took place in Tehran, is one of the steps on the path leading to peace and friendship between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Within the framework of the meeting, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia had the opportunity to speak. This meeting will contribute to establishing stability and security in the South Caucasus," Amir-Abdollahian said. A meeting of foreign ministers in the "3+3" format with the participation of the FMs of Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Iran, and Armenia took place Monday in Tehran. The development of regional cooperation in various domains was discussed at this meeting. One of the main goals of the meeting held in the "3+3" format is the solution of regional problems, but without the participation of non-regional countries and with the participation of regional countries, as well as the holding of peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
