Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan on Monday received Thierry Kovacs, Vice Governor of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, who arrived in Armenia within the framework of the partnership established between Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes and Syunik Province of Armenia to support the work of meeting the needs of forcibly displaced Armenian refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs lauded the friendship and supporting initiatives of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region towards Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, Hovhannisyan expressed his gratitude for the decision of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes government on October 20 on providing humanitarian aid for Armenia, The need to ensure stable living conditions for the Armenian refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, along with the implementation of short-term programs was emphasized on both sides. Also, the interlocutors reflected on the prospects of bilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on regional matters.
