US Secretary of State Blinken to visit Israel again

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Israel again on October 16, Reuters reports, citing State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller. According to The Jerusalem Post, Blinken’s last visit to Israel took place just five days ago. Miller said the US Secretary of State would hold consultations with Israeli authorities. The US top diplomat is traveling to the Middle East to try to prevent the war from escalating into a wider conflict, the State Department official added.
