On October 13, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Moscow Qahtan Janabi, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.According to the Press Service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, a detailed exchange of views took place on key aspects of the Middle East agenda, with an emphasis on the sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.During the conversation, issues of further strengthening the traditionally friendly Russian-Iraqi relations were discussed, including in the context of the implementation of agreements reached following the official visit to Moscow of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Al Sudani on October 10-11.
