Armenian President signs law ratifying Rome Statute

On October 13, the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan signed the law on Ratifying the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court signed on 17 July 1998 and on Adopting the Statement on Retroactively Recognizing the Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in accordance with Article 12.3 of the Statute. On October 3, the National Assembly approved the ratification of the Rome Statute. 60 members of parliament voted for the ratification, 22 - against.
