The meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries is underway Friday in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are participating in this meeting. As it is known, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had said that due to "certain circumstances," he will not be able to attend this meeting. At the summit, special attention will be paid to ensuring security in the territory of the CIS countries. After the event, a package of joint documents is planned to be signed.
