Assistance for the forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh is on our priority list. Tigran Avinyan, the new mayor of Yerevan, told this to reporters after his inauguration at Yerevan city hall Friday. "Starting from the issues of their relocation, the Yerevan Municipality has played the most leading and active role. And now, all our administrative districts accept requests from our brothers and sisters displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Those requests are met jointly with the [Armenian] government and the Red Cross. We still need to have several discussions with the government in order to comprehend the overall policy and conduct a joint policy," said Avinyan.
