Armenia does not always behave as a partner towards the other CIS-member countries. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, at Friday’s summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders, in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. According to him, the situation within the CIS needs to be assessed more critically and not to hide their heads in the sand. "To this day, the West continues to try to undermine, weaken, and subordinate us to its interests. First, Georgia left our association, de facto Ukraine is not with us. There are big questions about Moldova. Sadly, Armenia does not always behave like a partner," said the head of Belarus. He emphasized that this cannot be observed calmly from the side. "Otherwise, we will just be torn to pieces," he added. "We see that all the old conflicts that were once thrust upon us are inevitably resurfacing with very sad consequences. Thank God that not only a trend towards the resolution of these conflicts has been observed, but some of them have been successfully overcome," said the head of Belarus.
