Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday informed about what he discussed with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at their talk Thursday in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Putin noted the importance of the development of transport infrastructure. According to him, the previous day he discussed this matter with his Azerbaijani counterpart. "Yesterday, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Heydarovich [Aliyev] and I talked in detail about our plans, including the development of the railway network and roads. All this has a major and not only regional, but international significance, in the true sense of the word, and will, of course, contribute to the development of the entire economy," said the Russian president.
