The Kremlin is aware of the reasons for the absence of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the CIS summit in Kyrgyzstan, said Yuri Ushakov, the Russian presidential aide on foreign policy, RIA Novosti reported. The meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS countries will take place Friday in Kyrgyzstan. The presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan will take part in it. "Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan will be absent due to certain circumstances," Ushakov told reporters. To the question whether the Kremlin knows about the reasons for his absence, the Russian presidential aide responded: "We know, but he'll probably explain it himself somehow."
