I do not share the view that [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan signed the Prague document and the fall of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] followed. This was announced by Artak Zeynalyan, head of the Republic Faction of the new Yerevan Council of Elders, at a press conference Tuesday. "A war is lost not as a result of the clash of armies, but in preparation for it; this is a rule. What happened is the result of actions and inaction [by the Armenian side] that started a long time ago—since 2004 and even earlier, when Armenia signed a contract on the operation of Russian border guards in Armenia. "Get familiarized with that contract. When Armenia signed and extended the contract on the [Russian] military base [in Armenia], it was the result of a mistake made by all of us, regardless of individuals. I will not be at peace with myself and I will fight so that Artsakh is Armenian [again], so that the rights of Artsakh Armenians are secured and guaranteed. We will invest our knowledge, experience, ingenuity to make it happen," said Zeynalyan.
