Israel intends to change the situation throughout the Middle East during its armed confrontation with the Palestinian radical group Hamas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a conversation with the heads of regional councils in the south of the country. “What Hamas will go through will be difficult and terrible – we are only at the beginning of the campaign. This will take time, and we need special resilience in the coming days. The government will turn over every stone to help you all. I ask you to be firm because we intend to change the Middle East,” Netanyahu’s office quoted Netanyahu as saying. The meeting with Netanyahu was attended by the heads of city administrations and regional councils that have been attacked by Palestinian radicals over the past few days: Sderot, Ofakim, Eshkol and others.
