News - PACE president starts session with a minute's silence also commemorating memory of those who died in Karabakh

The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe started on Monday, Vladimir Vardanyan, member of the Armenian delegation to PACE, MP of the ruling Civil Agreement faction, chairman of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of Armenia's National Assembly wrote on his Facebook page. "The PACE President started the session with a minute's silence, commemorating the memory of those who died in Nagorno-Karabakh. He used the biblical word "Exodus" to describe the forced displacement of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh," he added.
