Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the Palestinian-Israeli crisis by telephone with the head of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, and announced the efforts being made in Ankara to settle it. The Turkish presidential administration reported following the conversation. “During the conversation, recent developments regarding Israel and Palestine, as well as developments related to tensions in the region, were discussed. President Erdogan said that Turkey is making all necessary efforts to end the confrontation as soon as possible and [bring] calm in the region,” the statement said.
