News - Iran and Sudan agree to resume diplomatic relations

Iran and Sudan have decided resume diplomatic relations following contacts between senior officials, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. “The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Sudan have decided to resume diplomatic relations in order to satisfy the interests of the two countries. The governments agreed to develop friendly relations among themselves based on mutual respect for sovereignty, equality, and common interests,” reads the statement.
