Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is confident that the Palestinians will come out victorious "as a result of the attack on Al-Aqsa." Raisi said that Iran calls on the world to pay attention to the fact that "the oppression and injustice against the oppressed Palestinian nation, the ongoing violence against women and prisoners, and the desecration of the Holy Quds [i.e. Jerusalem] cannot go on forever." "Iran supports the legitimate defense of the Palestinian nation. The Zionist regime [i.e. Israel] and its supporters are responsible for threatening the security of the countries of the region, and they must be held accountable for it," the Iranian president added. "Muslim governments should join the Islamic Ummah and sincerely support the people of Palestine." "The Zionist enemy should also know that the balance of power has changed; provoking war will not benefit the Zionists. The Palestinian people are the winners on this battlefield," he added. Also, Raisi hailed resistance forces across the region—from Palestine, Lebanon and Syria to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen—, and recalled the efforts of Qasem Soleimani, Imam Khomeini, and Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ali Khamenei in support of the Resistance.
