Active military operations are continuing in six Israeli areas bordering with Gaza, said the spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, Israeli media reported. Hagari noted that some Hamas militants have been in Israel since Saturday's attack, while others have crossed the border in the past two days. He added that about 70 militants entered Beeri kibbutz (community) during the night, but most of them were killed in battles with the IDF, while others were still hiding in the houses of this kibbutz. Hagari estimates that to date the IDF has killed 425 Palestinian fighters in Gaza and another one hundred—inside Israel. Also, he said that the IDF is recruiting hundreds of thousands of reservists. The IDF adds that it struck 1,148 targets in Gaza.
