News - Charles Michel discussed normalization of relations with Armenia over the phone with Aliyev

In preparation of Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting in Brussels, I had a call with president of Azerbaijan Aliyev. The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, announced this in his microblog in X. "Expressed EU’s commitment to Armenia- Azerbaijan normalization process. Reiterated the need for mutual respect of territorial integrity & sovereignty, and for advancing on border delimitation. Stressed also need to ensure Karabakh Armenians’ security & rights, also over the long term," he wrote.
