President: Armenia discussing with France matter of providing military aid

Armenia needs a new military partner and is discussing with France the matter of providing military aid, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan said, RIA Novosti reports. "We need a new military partner. And France expressed its determined intention to help, assist us in order to strengthen our defense capability. Currently, relevant negotiations are underway. Our goal is to defend ourselves and stop Azerbaijan's ambitions, as the ultimate goal is to live peacefully with our neighbor," Khachaturyan said on the air of France 2 television.
