News - 1 dead, 3 injured in China helicopter crash

A helicopter crashed in Xilin county of Baise city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region of China Wednesday, resulting in 1 dead and 3 injured, China Daily reported.  According to a CCTV news report, the crash occurred around 3:30pm while the helicopter was conducting high-voltage patrol operations for China Southern Power Grid Baise Branch. The personnel on board included one pilot and three patrol workers. The pilot died on the spot, and the three patrol workers were taken to the local hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
