Armenia's Human Rights Defender, Anahit Manasyan, has presented preliminary results of fact-finding activities conducted in different regions of Armenia with the forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh. These findings were shared with diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Armenia. The human rights defender highlighted violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law committed by Azerbaijan, which included the targeting of civilian settlements and infrastructure, harm to civilian populations, civilian casualties, and cases of torture and other forms of ill-treatment. Manasyan's report included documented cases of civilian deaths, disrespect for bodies, amputations, and other serious incidents resulting from Azerbaijani aggression in Nagorno-Karabakh. Photographic evidence supporting these claims was also presented.
