News - Pashinyan and Zelensky briefly discuss security situation in South Caucasus during short meeting in Granada

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the security in the South Caucasus during a short meeting in Granada, Spain. "During our first-ever meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and I focused on the security situation in the South Caucasus. Ukraine is interested in the region’s stability and friendly relations with its nations. We also discussed our bilateral cooperation and interregional economic projects,” Zelenskyy wrote on his X account. Earlier on Wednesday Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan. He thanked Ilham Aliyev for his significant humanitarian assistance and confirmed that Ukraine adheres to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the states.
