Armenia’s Representative of International Legal Affairs has appealed on October 4 to the European Court of Human Rights in order to ensure the protection of the rights guaranteed by Articles 2 and 3 of the European Convention of all representatives of the former and current leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh, demanding also to oblige Azerbaijan to immediately release them. "The representative of international legal affairs, based on a series of videos spread on social networks, asked the Court to oblige Azerbaijan to inform about prisoners of war and civilians under its control and to provide complete information,” reads a press release by Armenia’s Representative of International Legal Affairs. Earlier, regarding the application submitted to the European Court, Azerbaijan presented to the court information about Ruben Vardanyan, which was transferred to the latter's close relatives. Armenia’s Representative of International Legal Affairs also said that as soon as information is received from the European Court of Human Rights, it is transferred to the relatives of that person.
