

At Thursday's Cabinet session, the Armenian government approved the signing of the "Support to Armenia's Justice and Rule of Law Reforms: Phase 2" Project funding agreement with the European Commission. Presenting this project, Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan noted that with this agreement, the EU will provide budgetary support to Armenia in the amount of €9 million. Another €2 million euros will be provided for additional project support. And the duration of the project is six years. The general objective of this project is to contribute to the achievement of international standards in justice and anticorruption in Armenia, and which are related to integrity and accountability, independence, quality, efficiency, and access to institutions to provide proper services to the population.
