Armenian Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, has provided information regarding the delay of Armenian cargo at the Upper Lars checkpoint. According to Kerobyan, cars have been passing through the Upper Lars checkpoint, including those with alcoholic beverages, but there have been delays for some vehicles. He mentioned that samples were taken from some cars, and authorities were waiting for the results of these product samples. Minister Kerobyan emphasized that there doesn't appear to be any significant political context to the delays and urged against exaggerating the problem. Earlier, it was reported that around 60 trucks loaded with Armenian cognac headed for Russia were awaiting customs control and sometimes examination on the Russian side.
