News - ‘We have come to share your pain:’ Chairman of Cyprus-Armenia interparliamentary committee visits Tsitsernakaberd

Harris Georgiades, chairman of the interparliamentary committee on Cyprus-Armenia cooperation of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, expressed solidarity and visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial on October 3. He was accompanied by Sargis Khandanyan, the chairman of the Armenian National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations. During the visit, the delegation laid wreaths and flowers at the eternal fire, paying their respects to the memory of the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. They also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where they viewed exhibits and documents related to the Armenian Genocide. Georgiades left a message in the memorial book, stating that they support the restoration of justice and the historical struggle of the Armenian people.
