News - Armenia official: Situation on border with Azerbaijan has stabilized after yesterday's incident

After yesterday's incident, the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border has already stabilized. Armenian Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this on Tuesday. He informed that the situation is relatively stable now. Armenian military unit serviceman Aram Kocharyan was killed and two other soldiers were wounded as a result of Monday’s shooting by the armed forces of Azerbaijan at the vehicles of the Armenian Armed Forces which were transporting food for the personnel of the combat positions. The injuries of the two wounded servicemen are not life-threatening, and they have been transferred to a military hospital. The units of the Azerbaijani armed forces had fired at the ambulance, too, grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law.
