News - French FM welcomes ratification of the Rome Statute by Armenia

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has welcomed the ratification of the Rome Statute by Armenia. "From Yerevan, I welcome the decision of the Armenian parliament to ratify the Rome Statute and thereby allow Armenia to become a state party to the International Criminal Court. The fight against impunity for crimes is one of the conditions for peace and stability," she wrote on her X page. Catherine Colonna is currently in Armenia where she is expected to meet with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and together with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan also forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh.
