On August 31, starting in the afternoon, and throughout the night into September 1, the capital will experience intermittent rainfall along with thunderstorms. Forecasters predict that these conditions will escalate as wind speeds increase significantly, reaching gusts of 18-23 meters per second during these periods. The first days of September, specifically from the 2nd to the 5th, will see a break in precipitation, providing the city and the adjacent countryside with clearer skies and calmer weather. However, during this dry spell, residents should still remain cautious of the strong winds accompanying the thunderstorms during evening hours. Across Armenia, various regions will be impacted differently. Brief rainfall and thunderstorms are expected on the afternoon of August 31, and will continue from September 1 into the early mornings of September 2. These conditions will peak once again on the 4th and 5th of September. Certain areas should be particularly wary of the potential for heavy rain and hail, especially during the afternoon storms on these days. In these storms, wind force might rise even further, potentially reaching up to 25 meters per second, notably in hilly areas where gusts will be more pronounced. Although the week starts with tumultuous weather, the overall temperature is anticipated to rise gradually between September 2 and 5.
