In North Adams, the MCLA men's soccer team is starting a new season aiming to improve from their previous 3-12 record, which was significantly affected by injuries and scoring issues. As the team plans for improvement, sophomores like Kyle Cardoso, who has just finished an impressive high school career and is recovering from a summer appendectomy, are ready to take on bigger roles. They are joined by key players such as the energetic Gustavo de Oliveira, who was named MASCAC Rookie of the Year, and the experienced return of center back Michael Smith, strengthening the Trailblazers' lineup with skill and experience.
