Craig Milledge, who has been working as the assistant principal at Mountain Valley High School since 2022, has announced his new appointment as an assistant principal in Winthrop. The Region School Unit 10 board members confirmed this move by accepting his resignation during their meeting on August 10, held at the high school. In an emotional online message, Milledge reminisced about starting his educational career 15 years ago at Mountain Valley Middle School. Born and raised in the Rumford-Mexico community, Milledge highlighted his strong ties and emotional connection by stating, 'Our community means everything to me, and I will remain as connected as possible.' Additionally, this career change aligns with his personal aspiration to be a committed husband and father, a decision driven by years of long daily commutes. As his children grow older, Milledge recognizes the common challenge of balancing professional and family responsibilities.
