This was confirmed by Yury Chernichuk, the plant's director, who briefed on the current state of affairs at the facility. According to Chernichuk, all potential threats to the nuclear plant's safety have been mitigated as every critical damage has been addressed. He elaborated that some components of the facility have suffered functional disruptions due to direct attacks, but these are supported by alternative or backup systems, which guarantee uninterrupted operations. Furthermore, the director highlighted that ongoing repair works are treated with urgency, emphasizing that every part of the plant, especially those in the industrial sections, are essential for maintaining its full functionality.
