Join Our Podiatry Practice as a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant
We're on the lookout for a committed Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to be a part of our new private podiatry practice. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our medical office runs smoothly, providing top-notch service to our patients, and aiding healthcare professionals in offering high-quality care. Ideal candidates should have excellent administrative abilities, be well-versed in insurance verification and electronic medical record systems, and dedicated to creating a friendly atmosphere for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer a warm welcome to patients and assist them during the check-in process.
- Efficiently manage scheduling, coordinating appointments for both patients and providers.
- Professionally handle phone systems, respond to inquiries, and direct calls as needed.
- Keep patient files and records accurate and secure, in line with regulations.
- Assist in medical billing, including coding and insurance verification.
- Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, managing correspondence and documentation.
- Maintain an organized and inviting reception area for patients.
- Coordinate surgery scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems highly desired.
- Proficiency in computerized scheduling and record management systems.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Experience in a medical office setting is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of multitasking in a busy environment while staying professional.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical assistant or secretary qualifications a plus.
- Must be fluent in Armenian and English, reflecting our practice's location and patient demographics.
