Join Our Team: Executive Chef Wanted
We are seeking an Executive Chef for a high-end Modern Mediterranean/Lebanese Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily line checks and safety walkthroughs. Ensure strict control over food budget and costs in collaboration with the restaurant's General Manager. Manage vendor relations and procurement. Implement strategies to reduce food waste. Participate in menu development and engineering as required. Maintain a smooth kitchen operation, ensuring it is well-stocked for both in-house and to-go services. Foster a culture of trust, mutual respect, and leadership. Oversee the full lifecycle of team members, including hiring, training, coaching, skill development, and terminations. Uphold the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, and cost control. Manage inventory effectively. Guarantee up-to-date and accurate menu item and food allergen information. Adhere to company safety and sanitation standards. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by ownership. Active participation in kitchen duties is expected.
Position Details:
Full-time role with a starting salary of $90,000 per year. Shifts include day and evening hours. Work location is on-site.
Job Requirements:
At least 5 years of professional experience required. Must have expertise in Mediterranean/Lebanese cuisine, specifically with knowledge in Kabob marination and preparation. Proficiency in English and Armenian is mandatory. Strong inventory management skills are essential.
