Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant
Our dental practice is looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. Your role will be crucial in Chairside Assisting, Preparing Treatment Rooms, Taking Dental X-Rays (a must-have skill), and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Applicants are required to have a valid X-ray Certificate, Infection Control Certificate, and Radiation Safety Certificate.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and sterilizing dental instruments.
- Ensuring that treatment rooms are clean and well-stocked.
- Assisting the dentist in chairside procedures.
- Capturing digital x-rays and ensuring that patients are appropriately shielded to minimize radiation exposure.
- Following strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the dental team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Fluency in English; Spanish language skills preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and dentist.
- Training will be provided.
