Join Our Team as a BCBA
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), your primary role will be to craft, apply, and manage behavior modification programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum or facing other behavioral issues. Your tasks will involve conducting thorough assessments, interpreting data, and offering consistent support and training to both clients and their families, as well as to our staff, aiming for beneficial behavioral improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass a range of critical activities:
- Performing detailed behavioral assessments (such as Functional Behavior Assessments and preference assessments) to pinpoint problematic behaviors and devise appropriate interventions.
- Creating personalized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) grounded in the findings of these assessments.
- Tracking and evaluating the progress of clients through meticulous data collection and analysis.
- Providing essential supervision and assistance to behavior technicians to guarantee the faithful execution of intervention plans.
- Working in close cooperation with families, caregivers, and other professionals (including educators and therapists) to ensure intervention consistency across different settings.
- Conducting training sessions for parents, staff, and caregivers on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and various intervention techniques.
- Maintaining comprehensive and current records of client treatments and progress reports.
- Keeping abreast of the latest ABA field advancements, while fulfilling ongoing professional development and certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Proven experience in delivering ABA interventions, particularly to those with autism or other developmental challenges.
- A profound grasp of behavioral principles and intervention methodologies.
- The capacity to autonomously and collaboratively navigate tasks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitudes for effective interactions with clients, their families, and professionals.
